Dr. Cuizhen Jane Wang ND, is a licensed naturopathic doctor committed to provide holistic individualized care. Her focus is to empower patients; enabling them to make informed choices about their health and to coach them to make health a priority. Dr. Wang believes that preventive medicine is the best form of health care and she uses every patient encounter as an opportunity to educate patients on strategies to prevent events from happening in the first place
Dr. Wang obtained her Doctor of Naturopathy Degree from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Toronto (CCNM). Prior to attending CCNM, Dr. Wang was trained as a medical doctor in China and practised as general internist for 5 years and endocrinologist for 6 years. She holds active license of endocrinologist in China currently. She also received Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupunture training in China. She had worked as a clinical research professional in Sunnybrook Hospital and Princess Margareta Hospital since she came to Canada, focused on brain injury and cancer treatment. She has an extensive background in conventional medicine. Her passion is to integrate conventional and natural medicine to give patients the most natural, scientific and evidence based treatment protocol.
Dr. Wang uses a wide array of modalities –Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Hydrotherapy, Nutritional supplement, Botanicals, Homeopathy and Physical Medicine to treat her patients along with a strong emphasis on lifestyle changes and nutrition. She also provides functional, special, and genetic test to help provide further insight into the root cause of patient’s symptoms.
Dr. Wang is in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and is licensed to practice naturopathy in Ontario. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
